This morning the Tango team met Brody, Melissa, Waynie and Annunciata from Wadeye and Sarah Kings (Founder – Wadeye Girls Project) over breakfast provided by Tango in Miles, Queensland.

The team are on their way to participate in the Big Red Run a 250km run across the Simpson Desert. They will be running to raise money for the Wadeye Girls Project – dedicated to creating better futures for young girls from the ages of 6 to 18 years from the remote indigenous community of Wadeye (Northern Territory).

The Tango team found meeting these runners with a great cause to be an inspirational and uplifting experience. We wish Sarah and the girls all the best for the epic adventure ahead of them.

It’s not too late to get on board – you can support the Wadeye Girls Project by donating here.
