Tango Tidbit: Our Director James “JJ” Wamp joins Society of Petroleum Engineers Distinguished Lecturer John Turley on 19 May at the SPE QLD Technical Presentation “Assessing & Applying Petroleum Engineering Data from the 2010 Macondo Blowout”.
SPE members will see by example the necessity and importance of applying petroleum-engineering fundamentals and logic to dad-to-day drilling work, in real time, both in the office and on the rig. The lessons learned on Macondo, albeit an extreme example, are applicable to deep and shallow, onshore and offshore wells around the world.
- Date: 19 May 2016
- Time: 12.00pm to 2.30pm
- Venue: Tatersalls Club – 215 Queen St, Brisbane
